New Oak Ridge HOA Leadership is Needed

Per bylaws, the OAK RIDGE HOMEOWNERS' ASSOCIATION, INC is comprised of seven Board of Directors (BOD) elected every two years at the Annual Members Meeting.
The BOD then reaffirms or promotes 4 BOD members to Officer positions at the next BOD meeting.
During the Covid pandemic the bylaws could not be followed and no board meetings or annual meetings were held. Additionally, the President, Vice President and Secretary all moved or resigned, leaving a Treasurer and three board members who were not willing to assume the Officer roles.
The Treasurer and remaining BOD have kept the non-profit corp in active status, handling general email questions, estoppel questions, and handing out "welcome packages" to new homeowners for the past 5 years.
Efforts to enage new homeowners have not resulted in significant interest or nominations to serve on the Association, and membership dues have dropped off to those of a few faithful homeowners.
All seven Board of Director positions are currently up for election.
If the remaining members of the BOD can get at least 4 nominations to fill the open positions, we will attempt to secure a location to hold a membership meeting and save our HOA.
NOTE: An election would requre all members past and present to be current on payment of 2026 Dues ($50).

If we cannot secure enough volunteer board members to continue the HOA, a lawyer will be consulted and a vote taken to dissolve the non-profit corp and donate the remaining funds on hand to local charaties per the bylaws.
