Biking in and around Oak Ridge - By Mike Emanuel

If you happend to have noticed, Pasco finally constructed 200' section of sidewalk to connect the intersection of Collingswood Ct to the existing sidewalk on the West side of East Lake road.

For those that are bicycle enthusiasts, the above sidewalk completion now makes it possible to bicycle all the way to Tarpon springs and the Pinellas trail.  The work on Keystone Rd completed, the PTKC (Pinellas Trail Keystone Connector) was opened to allow safe hiking/biking all the way through to downtown Tarpon Springs, as well as completing the connection to the Pinellas Trail. I have used it several times already. Great exercise.

Oak Ridge residents to the North (Millstone, Morningsun, Atwell, Meadow wood and Overview)  are still shortchanged on sidewalk unless they cross over to the East side of Seven Springs Blvd, but they can cut through Copperfield and Ridge Top to make the connection.
